Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church enjoys a fine tradition of quality ministry through music.
Comprised of vocal, handbell, and instrumental ensembles, the music ministry is a comprehensive program of eight ensembles that offers opportunities for service, musical education, and spiritual enrichment to people all ages. Its primary purpose is to enrich the worship of God. It also serves an important role in Christian formation to those involved and outreach to the surrounding community. Members of the choirs receive a quality musical education, and lead worship for Sunday services from September through May. They also lead the music in special worship services and other events during the year. Concerts and other performances are offered to the public as a part of our Reid Arts series. Various instrumental soloists and ensembles are utilized throughout the year. The music ministry at Reid Memorial involves more than one hundred people, ages four to adult.
