Sunday Night Fellowship
Sundays, 6-8 p.m., Alan Fuqua Center
Fun, worship, friendship, Bible study, music and games. Share your life, grow spiritually, support and encourage one another through the love of Christ. There are also many special events planned throughout the year such as trips to amusement parks, scavenger hunts and other fun events.
Tuesday prayer breakfast
Tuesdays, 6:40-7:15 a.m. during
school year only at Chick Fil-A on Washington Rd. (near Westside High School) — A grand slam time to start your day surrounded by friends, food and most importantly prayer. Don’t be late - no breakfast orders after 6:50.
Thursday prayer breakfast
Thursdays, 7-7:30 a.m. is another prayer breakfast opportunity with a different twist — we meet in someone's home. Contact our youth director, Matthew Vinson, for locations.
High School Girls Ensemble
Sundays, 9-9:30 a.m., meet in sanctuary, followed by Sunday School. In addition to presenting works written for women's voices, this group leads our congregation in worship through scripture-based worship songs. Open to young women in grades 9-12.
Young Men's Steel Pan Group
There is no limit to how far this ministry of music can go — from an advanced group of several types of pitched and unpitched percussion, to a large percussion ensemble. Open to young men in grades 9-12.
Members of both groups are required to be consistent in their attendance. Rehearsal day and time depends on a consensus of team members. Contact Dr. Richard Cook for more information.
