Children's church

Three year olds through second grade

During the Sunday 10:30 a.m. worship hour, there is a moment shortly before the sermon where children are invited forward to meet in front of the communion table. Children (and adults!) enjoy an object lesson and are reassured of God's love for them before being invited to leave "big church" and go to Children's Church.

Children's Church is for children age three through second grade. The children participate in music, crafts, games and prayer activities that build their "big church" worship skills.

Children's Church happens in the children's wing of the Christian Education Building. Sometimes the children are led into the "big church" balcony where they are seated quietly and practice their worship skills under adult supervision.
