What to expect when you visit
Everyone at Reid Memorial knows what it is like to be new somewhere at sometime. We know it is easier to venture into a new place when you know what to expect. So here goes…
We exist to gather for worship and fellowship, equip ourselves to be effective disciples and serve others while pursuing a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.
We are a small church with about 250 people worshipping each Sunday morning. Our visitors and members span a wide range of ages and backgrounds. You are encouraged to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
When we worship, we use music as an offering to God and not as a performance for those assembled. We sing great hymns of the faith and hear strong preaching from exceptional ministers.
During our worship time together, one of the ministers will encourage everyone to sign a Friendship Pad. However, you will not be asked to stand for everyone to look you over. Also, we do not expect visitors to put money in the offering plate so feel free to let the plate pass by when it passes down your row. We do encourage you to be a faithful steward with all that God has provided for you.
Children are always welcome in worship. Children three years old through second grade may leave for Children’s Church at an appointed time during the 10:30 a.m. worship service or they may stay with you. Nursery care is available at all worship services.
